Bruce Minsky has spent more than three decades at the intersection of law and business, not as an outside observer, but as an active participant in the decisions that shape those businesses.
From 1991 to 2004, Bruce served as Vice President and House Counsel at a North America U.S. banking subsidiary of a publicly traded, full-service financial services provider, embedded across every function of the institution: commercial, consumer, retail, real estate, operations, finance, labor, marketing, and regulatory compliance. Bruce also managed third-party vendor contracts, worked on regulatory and internal audits, structured commercial financing arrangements, co-managed litigation, and helped guide the bank's expansion into insurance, credit cards and early online banking.
Prior to that, Bruce was an associate at a boutique New York litigation firm, handling the gamut of federal and state court matters from pleadings and discovery through trial and appeals.
Most recently, Bruce has served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for two publicly traded companies, and currently serves as Assistant Village Attorney for the Village of Wesley Hills and Village Attorney for the Village of New Hempstead, having previously held, for the Village of New Hempstead, roles as Deputy Mayor, Village Trustee and Zoning Board of Appeals member.
